Order Maize Oligonucleotide Arrays



Maize long oligonucleotide arrays are available to researchers at academic and non-profit institutions. In March 2007, advances in array printing have allowed us to initiate distribution of a maize array containing 46,128 70-mer oligos printed on a single slide. The selection of oligos for the 46K array was determined by analysis of expression profiles generated for sixteen diverse maize tissues and eliminating oligos from the original two slide set (57,452 oligos in total printed over two slides) that had not reported any significant expression in any of the sixteen tissues. These oligos may represent very weakly expressed genes or not perform well during hybridization due to design issues. Please contact Dr. Roger Barthelson (rogerab@cals.arizona.edu) if you have any questions regarding the 46K array. The price for the 46K array is $125. We invite parties interested in obtaining our arrays to place orders using the form provided below. A minimum order of four arrays is required.

For array users which have previously used the two slide set and need to finish up an existing expression profiling study, we have reserved a small number of two slide sets for this purpose.

After your order has been submitted and confirmed, a confirmation email detailing a summary of your order information will be sent to the email address you have provided.
