Welcome to the Maize Oligonucleotide Array Project

Project Status

January 28, 2011

Welcome to the Maize Oligonucleotide Array homepage. Initiated in October, 2003 with generous support from the National Science Foundation Plant Genome Research Program (NSF DBI 0321663) this project was a joint effort of the University of Arizona, The Institute for Genomic Research, and the University of Wisconsin. The goal of this project was to provide a low-cost comprehensive gene expression microarray resource for the important crop plant maize (Zea mays L.). On September 30, 2007, NSF PGRP funding for this project ended.

We are currently out of stock of maize oligonucleotide microarrays and have no immediate plans to print another set. We suggest researchers use Agilent microarrays. We are offer hybridization services for Agilent arrays.

Please contact Dr. David Galbraith (galbraith@arizona.edu) with any questions about maize microarray project resources.
